Watched in: Japanese. Mawaru Penguindrum must be among the best anime I have seen up until now. The visual narration is unmatched. The symbolism is immaculate. It is a masterpiece.
Watched in: Japanese. Perhaps this is the most relatable girl drama. Honestly, there are so many aspects to this show that make it stand out to me, so that it would be pointless to name them all. Wonderful. This is hard to surpass.

It is not the best adaptation of the book, but I can appreciate it as a separate entity. So far British English is the best. I keep noticing something new with each rewatch.
Watched in: Chinese. On par with the first season. They have finally showed Fors Wall, even if it was for some 2-3 minutes – I am happy. The varying episode duration feels nice, and the fact that the quality actually improved makes me even more glad that I have watched it before the dub was out. The Spectator pathway portrayal was on point, adding visual effects helped make it clearer. It was nice seeing the first chapters of the novel being covered too. Sadly, it felt a little rushed. Even if it makes sense in a special format, it's not something I particularly like. Though, I have enjoyed it either way and will definitely do a couple detail-hunting rewatches.
