Watched in: Japanese, Russian. I still listen to the songs from this show to this very day, especially the Don't say Lazy covered by SCANDAL. This is a comfort anime I would rewatch many times.
Watched in: Chinese. I cannot see how that is a sequel to the first two movies. This is a side story, if not an AU. It has *nothing* to do with the movies, and the quality basically flops as soon as the main story starts developing. Bad. I will not watch the sequel.
Watched in: English. A fairy tale. Nothing special. Nice animation, good OST – that's all it has. It is just too chinese for my liking. By that I mean too Qihuan/Wuxia. Average.
Watched in: English. The first movie was pretty much average. Really had nothing special about it, except for the BGM. This one on the other hand is a B+. I believe saying it is good is no exaggeration. The BGM is just as good, the animation is polished and FOR ONCE there is some character development in a non-mainstream donghua. I would not say it's *very* good, but I could recommend it to your average Joe. The Luye flashback was quite literally chilling
