Angelisis

Just when you start to feel a connection to the main character, the anime devolves into a glaring example of Mary Sue storytelling. Every character that interacts with the protagonist seems cut from the same cloth, all inexplicably drawn to her in an identical manner. By the fifth episode, any reason to continue watching evaporates, leaving behind a predictable and uninspiring narrative.

It kicked off well, with characters that felt vibrant and charming, but then it veered off in a direction that diverged from the initial set-up. While the second storyline introduced is interesting in its own right, its placement in the latter half of the season feels misplaced. It's hard to grasp the connection or reason for its timing, suggesting that it might have been more fitting to explore this new story in a second season, allowing the first to more deeply develop the main character and their journey.

A whimsical journey through time with humor at its heart, though the ending fumbles clarity. The beginning, however, was captivating.

This anime bursts with originality and lands its jokes perfectly, offering a refreshing take on typical isekai tropes. Truly a breath of fresh air in its genre.

Great continuation of the first season's story.

Good continuation.

Great continuation of the second season's story.

Good continuation.

Good continuation.

Vibrant adventurous spirit that captivates with its myriad of novel plot twists.

As an enjoyer of shojo genre i expected to like it, but i got overwhelmed by an excess of boring animal characters, and underwhelmed with a dull youthful protagonist. Give her story progress faster, and that might have not happened.

Just when it teased an intriguing start, the story nose-dived, smothering its philosophical promise under a heap of trivial nonsense. Introducing that sword character in such a bizarre way before veering off into realms of extreme unrealism? It lost me in its leap into the absurd.

Becomes boring after the first episode. The production decisions fail to create an engaging narrative, leaving you confused.

When the fantasies of a childish loser mindset come to life, you end up with a mess like this.

It's a cheap, thoughtless mess - just a haphazard scramble thrown together without any real effort.

It's just plain boring.

There's a fine line between a wholesome family anime and one that caters to perverted interests under the guise of entertainment. Unfortunately, this anime lands firmly on the latter side, appealing to niche fetishes rather than providing genuine content.

The characters aren't interesting, and it's not funny as a parody. Shitty mess.

This could have been a charming anime, if not for its reliance on distasteful fan service elements that tarnish its potential cuteness.

It aims for innocence but ends up cloying, making it too dull.

The characters are unappealing and annoying, making it just too frustrating to watch.

Kicking off with the angst of middle-school drama and then spiraling into what's essentially a kindergarten harem mess, this series throws sensitivity out the window. It begs the question: who in the world is this even for? The bizarre mashup of themes and questionable scenes makes you wonder if the creators had any audience in mind at all, or if they were just tossing ideas at the wall to see what sticks in the most cringe-worthy way possible.

It's simply dull, failing to capture any genuine interest or engagement.

It baits you with the hint of a compelling narrative upfront, then yanks the rug out from under you, descending into a narrative quagmire tailored for the solitary and despondent. This isn't storytelling. It's a bait-and-switch for the emotionally marooned. The author, like many before, fails to grasp the essence of engaging narrative, choosing instead to alienate the story with a blend of disillusion and distaste that seems almost cynically crafted for those lost in their own isolation.

The story is nice, but too long to enjoy. Direction is focused on money making from merch, than on delivering a good series worth of the time.

Same as the prequel.

The story's youthful protagonist and its naive outlook with a strong reflection of deeply ingrained cultural attitudes in the plot direction. While the female characters portrayed kind of cute, male characters are both foolish and inadvertently distasteful.

This anime is just like someone's boring dreams before sleep.

You'd have to be clueless or thoughtless to create an anime like this in 2024. It's just one boring cliché after another. There’s only one character with anything new to offer, and he's barely in the background.

It's baffling why anyone would sit through this. Bad characters. Boring plot. Nothing creative.

Plagued by a lack of originality, this piece stumbles with a plot that's as uninspiring as it is derivative - a mere pursuit of entertainment that is narrow-minded.

The main character is annoying and acts so childishly that it's frustrating. The other characters just seem to be there for him, which stops them from growing. The story is moving fast but going nowhere.

I'm tired of these absurdly genius kids in anime. It's ridiculous: a group of kids who look like they're 10 years old are the top guild in the game. Why set it up like that? Just to force a story with jk? It makes no sense.

The repulsive start and terrible direction offer a clear preview of the gross mess that follows.

This anime starts with promise, but it smells like trash the more you watch, making you stop.

*Based on 5 episodes:
Seems like this anime was created with passion, but the taste of the author is just too specific. Boring story with slow pacing and bad jokes.

The background stories for the characters don't match how they act, and overused, boring ideas ruin the story and stop you from liking anything in that world. A shitty mess.

If you're after something fresh or even remotely engaging, ditch this dumpster fire designed for basement-dwelling nerds. It's a trainwreck of recycled trash, not worth a second of your time.

Pitched perfectly for die-hard fans of Japanese daydreaming, yet it squanders its fantasy potential with a direction obsessively centered around a protagonist with the depth of a puddle. The shallow virgin-minded approach strips any promise of sophistication, leaving a story that could've soared trapped in the mundane.

It's a no-brainer with a completely senseless plot.

It's boring, lacks any sense of reality. the characters are so bland they might as well blend with the low quality backgrounds.

It's a crude mess, drenched in distaste with zero depth or thoughtful consideration.

The first episode hinted at something new and exciting, but it turned out to be just another typical, dull story aimed at moe fans without offering anything substantial.
