Many decisions seem to have been taken based on Whatever Looks Cooler, and are at times outright at odds with the themes and concepts established in First. Moreover, the attempt to make the viewer sympathize with Nasch by killing IV, Durbe, and Merag fell completely flat because these characters either have no well-established bond with him or rely on his manpain for character development, to the point of feeling caricaturistic at times. That said, it's not a bad show; many episodes were a joy to watch. There's a lot to say about Vector's character and Yuuma's final battle with Nasch, and both were genuinely compelling.
